Each question shows a scatter graph. Draw your line of best fit with two clicks or taps — the line passes through both points. Then answer the analysis questions exactly like the basketball unit: direction, form, strength, clusters, outliers, predictions, and interpolation versus extrapolation.
- Two clicks: tap one point near the start of the trend and one near the end. Your line passes through both.
- Aim through the middle: about half the dots above the line and half below.
- Ignore outliers: a line of best fit should not be dragged through a point far from the trend.
- Then analyse: describe the scatter and read predictions from your line.
