Rotations, vertices and angles

Ten transformation questions

Compare two shapes side by side. Decide whether the blue shape has been reflected, translated or rotated to make the orange image.

Then match the labelled vertices and the corresponding angles. Finally, identify the angle and direction of the turn.

A transformation moves a whole shape. Corresponding vertices are the same corners before and after the move. Corresponding interior angles keep the same size; this is different from the angle through which the whole shape turns.
